T4T Retreat...

Hey Saints,

It was great being together with many of you for Faithwalkers! What a tremendous way to start a faith-filled new year!

GCL is having a T4T Retreat from 7pm on Fri., Jan. 13th until 4pm on Sat., Jan. 14th at Florida Bible Camp in High Springs, Florida (www.floridabiblecamp.org). We are opening up this retreat to other GCSE churches. I just confirmed with Jeff Sundell to come down and do his T4T training for us during the retreat. Jeff has effectively multiplied T4T groups in NC and has been providing T4T training around the country. He was one of the key speakers at a recent T4T Conference in Chicago that was attended by several of the leaders of our churches in the Columbia, SC area. I called Jeff a couple of days ago to see if he was available for our retreat weekend, and it just so happens that he had just had a cancellation that weekend which made him available. What a blessing! The format for the retreat will include Jeff training in an interactive way, questions and answers, and times to subgroup by church to help put things into your context.

I would love for you to join us for the retreat. Our church is subsidizing the cost of the retreat so the cost is only $15 per person (pay by cash, check or credit card when you arrive) which includes staying Fri. night in a cabin, Sat. breakfast, Sat. lunch, snacks, and meeting facilities. We need to get a head count of guys and gals coming by this coming Mon., Jan. 9th. One prerequisite to attending the retreat is that you must have read the T4T book. If you don't have the paperback book yet ($18.95) you may not have enough time to order it, wait for it to come in, then read it before the 13th. Things to pack:

Bible, notebook, sheets or sleeping bag to put on top of your bunk bed, pillow, towel, toiletries
